TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. There will be one class per week in a month and a maximum of four classes in a month. Duration will be for one hour with a maximum of two students per batch. The prescribed monthly fees are payable in advance at the beginning of the month.

2. If a student misses a class, as a goodwill gesture, the class will be rescheduled based on availability of slots. As The Piano Room is working on a tight schedule, in most cases such rescheduling may not be possible and hence students in their own interest should regularly attend the classes in their allocated slot.

3. Classes are conducted offline as well as online. The Piano Room is equipped with one Baby Grand acoustic piano and two digital pianos. We also have multi cam audio and video setup for our online classes.

4. For a beginner, it is not mandatory to have a piano at home. However, a keyboard with touch response and 5 octaves (61) keys is a bare minimum requirement to begin with. This may cost around Rs 15,000. Depending upon the progress and interest shown in learning, one may have to invest in a Piano in future. There is a massive

difference between a Keyboard and Piano and one is advised to do some basic research before investing.

5. The Piano Room will train the students for appearing in the exams conducted by all the three boards available in India - The Trinity College London (TCL), The Associate Board of Royal School of Music (ABRSM) and The London College of Music (LCM). We don't encourage anyone to just finish the grades. Learning music should be for fun.

6. Admission is at our sole discretion. Similarly, we also reserve our right to terminate the classes for a particular student if in our opinion we find the student unsuitable for further learning from The Piano Room.
